Creativus Design Code Review and Quotation Policy

When Creativus Design takes on a project, we commit to delivering a quality outcome. However, modifications to existing code can have cascading repercussions. To ensure the integrity of your website, we need to understand the parts of the codebase we’re being hired to work on before initiating any changes.

Our quotation process is thorough and includes a detailed code review of the specific areas we’ll be working on. This allows us to provide an accurate estimate and prevent unforeseen issues during development. To cover the time and expertise involved in this process, we require a non-refundable deposit of $200. Here’s how it works:

1. You provide us with authorization to access the relevant sections of the existing codebase.
2. We conduct a detailed review of the areas of the code that we’ll be working on and provide an estimate for the work you require.
3. If you decide to proceed with the project, the $200 deposit will be deducted from the total cost. For example, if the total cost is $500, you’ll only need to pay the remaining $300.
4. If you decide not to proceed with the project, the deposit covers the time and expertise we invested in the code review and quotation process, and will not be refunded.

In the rare event that we are unable to complete the project due to unforeseen complexities discovered during the work, we reserve the right to refund the deposit at our discretion.

This policy helps us dedicate the necessary resources to provide an accurate quote while ensuring we’re compensated for our time. It also helps to prevent project scope creep and protects both parties from potential miscommunications or misunderstandings.
